We’re so glad you’re here. These are our little retreats in the mountains — places to slow down, breathe deep, and enjoy everything Idyllwild has to offer. Choose your cabin below for everything you’ll need during your stay.
Galleries, shops, cafés, restaurants — and Mayor Max, the town's golden-retriever mayor.
Interpretive trails and local-history exhibits. Gentle and kid-friendly. Closest to Hidden Nest.
Big wilderness views. Bring water and layers, start early. Closest to Boulderland.
About 5 miles out and back, shaded and gently graded — the easy one, good for families and dogs on leash. Start from the Tahquitz View Drive end and you won't need a parking pass.
Gateway to Devil's Slide and Tahquitz Rock. Day-use permit required — plan ahead.
Idyllwild has a market and restaurants, but selection is limited and hours vary. For big group meals — especially at Hidden Nest — grab groceries in Banning or Hemet on the way up.
You may see deer, squirrels, birds, and other wildlife — please enjoy them from a distance and do not leave food outdoors.
Idyllwild has strict fire regulations for good reason. No outdoor fires of any kind, no fireworks, and propane BBQ only.
