Snow is possible up here. The roads to the cabin are plowed, but because we’re right off the main highway, plows can leave a berm across the driveway. We’ll clear it before you arrive when we can — during heavy snow the plows run continuously and there’s a good chance you’ll need to shovel. Bring chains or drive 4WD, and pack warm layers and a flashlight.

To keep our jacuzzi comfortable and skin-friendly we take pride in using minimal chemicals. We kindly ask all guests to rinse off before getting in to help us uphold this practice.
Fold the cover over and pull it aside to uncover the tub. Please replace the cover when it’s not in use — it holds the temperature and keeps debris out.
Click the light button to cycle through light modes. Adjust the temperature with the Up / Down arrows.
Open it fully to allow airflow. Never fully close the damper while a fire is burning.
Ash can be removed from the stove and placed in the ash bin next to the stove. Our cleaners take it from there — no need to do anything else with it.
Never leave a fire unattended or burning while you sleep or leave the cabin. Indoor stove only — Idyllwild has strict fire regulations and no outdoor fires of any kind are permitted.
Press the power button on the left, and check that the propane tank underneath is twisted to the openposition. Blue lights illuminate when it’s ready to use.
Press in on the burner knob you want and turn it to HIGH to ignite. You may need to hold it in the ignite position for 5–10 seconds to be sure the flame stays lit.
When you’re done, turn all knobs to off and press the left power button to power down — the blue lights will turn off. Then close the knob on the propane tank.
Spare propane tanks are on site. If you run out mid-stay, swap in a fresh one or text us and we’ll sort it out.
